Quill Loop

Too Long; Didn't Read (TL;DR):

You own 100% of your writing. We will never steal or claim rights to your books. We take backups seriously, but you should still save your own work. If the software breaks, we’ll fix it, but we aren't liable for a million dollars if a glitch eats a chapter. You can cancel anytime.

1. Your Intellectual Property (You Own Your Words)

You retain 100% ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights to all manuscripts, character notes, loops, and content you write, upload, or create using Quill Loop. We claim absolutely no ownership or rights over your work.

2. Backups and Data Loss

We know how important your words are. Quill Loop employs automated hourly and daily backups to protect your data. However, Quill Loop is a writing tool, not a dedicated cloud-storage archive. Users are strongly encouraged to maintain their own local copies or exports of their manuscripts. We are not responsible for lost data due to user error or unforeseen catastrophic server failures.

3. "As-Is" Service and Uptime

We work hard to keep Quill Loop running smoothly, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee 100% uptime, and we reserve the right to briefly take the system offline for necessary maintenance or updates.

4. Limitation of Liability

In the absolute worst-case scenario where something goes critically wrong, our liability is strictly limited. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anywhere Creative (the company behind Quill Loop) and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or lost potential publishing revenue. Our total financial liability to you is strictly capped at the total amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident.

5. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Quill Loop is a subscription service. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. Once you cancel, you will retain access to your premium features until the end of your current billing cycle. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for mid-month cancellations.
